William Luke White
Memphis music stalwart William Luke White’s 20 year career has taken him from Memphis to Nashville, from Boston to New York, crisscrossing the United States and Europe in support of countless albums and in the company of countless revered musicians.
The proud alum of dozens of bands (Spiral Stairs, Colour Revolt, Snowglobe, The Coach And Four, James and the Ultrasounds, Clay Otis, Sons of Mudboy, Harmonium), White offers his latest album in response to a personal tragedy that has left him unable to tour. While spending a summer home in Memphis after an exhausting Spiral Stairs tour, White endured a massive seizure, the result of an astrocytoma brain tumor. Following surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, White continues his musical journey with this eponymous solo debut EP in the face of recovery, loss, and a global pandemic.
Out OCTOBER 2nd, 2020 on NINE MILE RECORDS.
